Combo Guns in the USA

Post by NE450No2 »

I do think Blaser should more aggressively attempt to sell their Combo Guns here in the USA.

There are a lot of places where there are fur and feathered game in season at the same time.

We do not have the same "Animals engraved on the gun culture" as the Germans so the more basic models would probably be better sellers.

Most Americans do not know just how accurate the Blaser Combo guns are. If I was Blaser USA I would be sure the advertising illustrated that point.

I agree with you 100%. I do remember a special Kansas Sunday pheasant hunt when a huge buck stepped up out of the creek about 75 yards away from me. He looked at me for a minute or so before he trotted off.

There has also been many time I jumped a coyote while pheasant hunting.

For the way I hunt, my new BBF is going to be perfect. I guess I didn't know what to expect as far as accuracy, but I am quite impressed so far.Image

On the subject of marketing, Blaser pretty much sucks at that all the way around. My son and I watch the Outdoor channel on a regular basis, and yesterday, for the second time EVER, I saw a R-93 being used on a show. To me, the use of the Blaser was negated because the hunt took place in Europe. I have NEVER seen a Blaser being used while hunting in the US.

If I were trying to market Blasers in the US, I would have someone like Michael Waddel or other hunting show personalities using them. In my opinion, it would be worth giving away a couple of guns to get them on national TV and in the public eye.

That's what Thompson/Center does. You can't turn on the Outdoor channel without seeing an Encore.

That's my point!Image Blaser could do it too, but I am afraid that, IF the R-93 did take off here in the US, they couldn't deliver the guns and would piss people off.

I saw that same hunting show and thought the same thing.

Blaser USA should put me in a Hunting Show.

Nobody is a more Serious Blaser user than me. :D

The problem with Blaser doing a hunting show is that it would more than likely come across as "elitist" and alienate 95% of its viewers. Now if they let me do one, it still might come across as somewhat "elitist", but it would definitely have a REDNECK flair.ImageImage
