Love your Black Beauty.
By the way, a superstition (?) here in India is that Black dogs are special because they take all the sins of their family on to themselves.

What´s her breed!?
I had a American bulldog once, and she was the biggest cuddling dog on the planet

My wife has a wiener dog with about the same activity level. She is nearly as round as she is long.

She's a mutt....pitbull,maybe rotty cross.All muscle and fearless to a fault.I had to put a cable on her,as she kept climbing a ladder to gt on a roof with me.
She has gained afew pounds this winter,but I'll have them knocked off soon in the spring.Same with me

She often goes to work with me,I was nailing cedar shakes on this roof;
She liked sitting at the bottom catching scraps as they fell.She climbed up to the first plank up my extesion ladder,then made a run for that tray cut by the dormer.Jumped in the window,down the inside stairs and back outside....funny stuff.

Today we played with the cows (or steers as the case maybe)....
This one behind the gate doesn't like her,but another one plays all the time with her and they chase each other around.

That's the Rotweiller in her. They are cattle herding dogs and have a natural affinity to cattle.
