Had this guy for 15 years, and had to put him down last week, hard to do. So many hunting memories with the kids, and family. One of my best bird dogs, and he was the runt of the litter, the whole litter sold except for him. My wife and I bought him, he was our first GSP, we have two more at home now. Dave W.

Bird dog men, understand the depth of loss, the bond that exists between a hunter and his dog, that few others fathom. I'm sad for your loss.

Not much one can add. It'll hurt for a while. Lost both of our dogs the past year and 'we' decided that was it. Can't bring them back and they were both very unique. It can't be overstated how much of the family they are.
