ATT Aussies Emergency (please read)

Post by SPEEDY »

I just got some bad news today, the friends that I gave my dog Girl to when I reenlisted have had a problem.

A couple of weeks ago there other dog grabbed a cat in there front yard and Girl seeing this grabbed the back of it, the cat was fine but now the local rangers are trying to have her put down, my friends are fighting this in court, they lost out on the other dog even though he is a big fool and harmless to people, but he will have to be put down.
If their appeal on Girl is unsuccessful she will share the same fate. That is a big tragedy as she is the gentlest, friendliest dog who is great with kids and doesn't fight with other dogs, she is just a big puppy that wants to play with everything, she even grew up on the farm and is 100% stock safe.
It's a real shame, now my Friend will have to take them out bush one last time and put them down.

Now to the emergency, I have another mate on a farm that has a staghound that looks almost exactly the same as Girl that he has to find a new home for on a farm somewhere, she is a great dog with all the same qualities as Girl although being on a farm in NSW she has never been registered (as it's not required for farm dogs" and is in great condition, de-sexed and apart from a small scar on her back right about where a microchip would normally be placed is a wonderful fit and active dog.

So if you live on a farm or have friends that do that would like a fully trained friendly dog that will hunt Rabbits and Foxes and will work with both Ferrets and other dogs and be the best companion that you could ever have then drop me a PM.

There is a rush on this as he needs to find a home in a hurry, just in case he "has to move in a hurry"

Ps, he also has another staghound that looks a lot like my mates other dog, while just as friendly as Girl he isn't as smart or as good at catching rabbits but he will work very well on Foxes and Deer is used to hunting with the other "Girl".
I'm soft and I don't care.

We have a permanent home found for both dogs but can't I can't get them there until December so if anyone wants to volunteer to baby sit then that is also an option.

Sounds like a great dog and would be a waste to have to put her down.

It looks like we have sorted something out, so all should be good.
