Ist Wife

Post by Corjack »

Not too long after I got married, my wife gave me a nice beagle that we named Head. He was a great little dog, and a joy to be around. But as time went on, my wife got to where she did not like Head. One day I came home early from work and discovered my wife giving Head to the fellow that lived next door.

Oh well, just thought I would pass on my sad story.

The reason she didn't like head is she had to be trained to like head.

I have not found that women train very easy. After my divorce, I had a few girlfreinds, a few liked Head a lot, others never really took a liking to him. Others only liked Head unless he was bathed frequently.

Reminds me of the story of the cowboy who just got married. He goes to check into the hotel and informs the hotel clerk that it is his wedding night. The clerk asked if he would like the bridal suite?
The cowboys thinks for a spell and replies - no thanks I'll just hold her by the ears till she gets the hang of it.

After pondering your situation I think I found the answer to your problem. You got your wife a 'little dog'. Every woman I've known thinks those are really cute but when it comes down to really liking and wanting to play with the dog regularly they've preferred a big dog. I've found the Rottweiler is a good one, even better is the Bull Mastiff or Great Dane. So maybe should you try this route again you'll get her a big dog and see how that works out... 10-1 she won't give it to the next door neighbor again...

Granted once you get used to those little dogs it's pretty hard to change.
