Hello everyone, new to the forum.
I'm in North Texas and recently picked up an r93 and am excited to shoot it and hopefully use it in the field soon.
Any tips or things to look at on a second-hand rifle? I'm familiar with remington 700's but am new with the blaser rifles.
Mine is chambered in 30-06, looks like a standard barrel with no sights. Was going to try 165gr nosler accubonds or partitions to start.
Does anyone else have any suggestions for bullet/load suggestions?
Thanks a lot for any help!

Welcome aboard mate.
You will find plenty of helpful owners on this forum.
A couple of basic R93/R8 tips.
Throw the bolt with purpose, don’t be to gentle.
If you want to cycle it slow and quiet, just make sure it is fully closed.
If you want to reload, most owners full length size only.

165gr nosler accubonds shoot great in mine.
