Had a majour drama yesterday.
Went down to the garage around midnight to check on her and the pupps and as normal Tessa had gone through everything again including the bag that has her food in for when we go to dog trials, so I pick it up and put it back in a obscure corner and my mind goes blank not wanting to believe what I saw. 1,10lt.bucket industrial grade TALLON,with the lid OFF .(powerful rat bait)
Get the vet out of bed and off to the clinic, induce vomit and massive amounts of blocks come up, vet says this is not good,so more induce vomiting and more comes up,vet says this is BAD.
We go to plan B, wash and pump stomach out, a few more little dramas but the GOOD NEWS is we are back home and she should recover without too much trouble.
She wil be on medication for at least 4 weeks and I wil be watching her like a hawk.
The pupps were a little hungry by the time we got back from the vett but thankfully wil not be affected

I know some of you are goig to ask what the F@&^ were you doing with that stuff...The stuf was stuffed in a tight corner wit heavy drums in front of it and was long forgotten and with a lidd that even I cant open easely, but dint I tel you that tessa is a clever girl with a second name of HOUDINI and was trying to help out the vett financially and me to the poor house.LOL. (I can smile about it now but I tell you I had a freakin hart attack)

Bloody hell mate sounds like you had a manure of a time. Thank god it worked out ok for you. I know that vet's are like dentist every time you see them it's a holiday or new tires for the car or work around the house done for them but she is a great dog and worth the money. Lets hope all is well for her and you

Yeah I know what they are like but what do you do. You just have to do it for them as they are part of the family.
