Meet the Hounds

I have recently joined the forum. Having introduced myself it is probably appropraite to introduce my dogs. Scout is a 12 year old lab. His best hunting days are behind him. Finn is a 1 year old English Cocker. He did great his first season out on quail and dove. I am looking forward to his first full season.

Lovely, I have a GSP and an English Cocker. Great little quail dog.

Thanks. I have always been a Lab guy. The past couple of years i have hunted with a guy who used English Cockers to back up his pointers and was very impressed.

Great looking dogs, I currently have a Llewellyn Setter, but have owned a variety of bird dogs and loved them all. Great looking pair you have there.

Nice looking dogs. The old lab looks like he's been on a few hunts. How's the new dog going.

The pup is doing good. I quail hunted with him over 6 days last season. It gave him the opportunity to work with other experienced dogs. The learning curve was fun to watch.
