Well actually, they're more commonly know as Carolina Dogs, or Carolina Dingos as they were discovered in the 1970's roaming wild in the
Carolina woods. He's two years old, and I've had him since he was a pup. He's aloof when it comes to people he doesn't know, but friendly
with other dogs. Any other critters beware. ( guards the house like he's possessed by the devil himself  )

Here's a Wiki on the breed. It's interesting, as evidence suggests that they came to the Americas across the frozen bering strait with the original migrants.

Great looking dog. That does look very much like a dingo from the front but the tail is a spitz giveaway its from the northern hemisphere.

Had never heard of them. Very pretty dog. He's the size that I prefer in a dog.

Beautiful dog.
Life and hunting are so much better with a good dog.

As a pup he was quite wild, and different from other young dogs. He seemed like he was in a state of self defense. No tale wagging, or cuddling whatsoever. Now he's fun loving, and tale wagging. Just not real friendly with outsiders. (non pack members)

Sounds like the perfect dog, friendly to the family but keeping all others off your property. Thanks for the info.
