Yes at a full run but skid for a few feet. It was after one was shot with a rifle so it was flat out running.

Imagine the LR fox load you could make for that 20ga, you could probably do an easy 80 yard load with #4 shot.

That is just crazy stuff...tungsten seems to penetrate really well. I'd be worried if people were to hunt with it on a fox drive...unless you were really confident that the other blokes weren't nuff nuff........

Yeah over penetration could be an issue as well as cost but still impressive anyway.

I'm not worried about over penetration, a shot gun isn't like a rifle not all the pellets will hit the target, so if if your worried about over penetration then you should be more worried about the pellets that go over or around the target.

I just sent an enquiry to see what it will cost to send a KG of 3mm and another of 4.5mm sent to Australia.
If it's any good and postage isn't insane then I will order a whole heap more.

Just got an email back $61usd a KG for the shot and $25usd postage.
So only $216.50aud, lead shot cost me a whopping $100 a KG so it's very closely matched in price, it will be good for both the muzzleloader and shot shells.

So the only question left is to confirm shot sizes, I want small shot for rabbits to foxes and something bigger for Pigs.
I wonder if it might be better to go up to 3.2mm-3.5mm for the small stuff and up to 4.8mm-5mm for Pigs.

The value in TSS is that you can achieve a very dense pattern using smaller shot that penetrates like larger sized lead shot. You can move five sizes smaller and still achieve the same penetration of lead. That is why a #9 TSS penetrates as deeply as a #4 lead shot and the benefit is four times more hits on target. I personally would choose #7 TSS for fox and rabbit and BB for hogs based on what I know at this point. I've only tested #9 and am thoroughly impressed, it outperforms my Hevi-Shot by a wide margin which outperforms lead by a wide margin. It will be interesting to see what you find. But be aware, TSS is even harder than steel shot and we all know how hard steel shot is on barrels, TSS will be even worse. To mediate the hardness, use thick shot collars and extended chokes if using tighter than modified. The TSS I have used so far respond well to tight chokes .680-.650. The other angle is to use very small shot sizes and a wide choke to achieve larger patterns that are still dense enough to get the job done. I'm getting 5 shot per square inch at 40 yards using the #9 and a .650 choke and these would penetrate a fox easily at 40 yards.
