They certainly do grow up fast. Our Labradors have always been house dogs and had the greatest of temperaments. Enjoy your puppy.

I attended a luncheon at the British Embassy in Washington DC some years ago The British Ambassador had a golden lab. I asked the Ambassador: " Mr Ambassador, what is it about English labs that makes them so unique?" He replied: " I don't know, I got mine in San Diego."
