Hey Man from North Texas

Post by ElkMan »

I don't know anyone else that has Blasers so this site is like a long lost friend. I have (2) R93's, Both in .300 Wby Mag, both synthetic stocks, the newer one has a fluted barrel. I use them for Deer and Elk hunting. Handloads consisting of 185 grain Berger VLD, 78 Grains of Reloader 22, 3.60 COAL, .5moa.

Well we're glad you found us! You have good taste in cartridges... I have a R93 in 270 Wby and recently ordered an R8 in 300 Wby. Looks like you're a fan of larger scopes too.

Good looking elk ya got there. When you get time we'd like to hear the story on how and where you got him. I hunt quite often near Cloudcroft, New Mexico and they have a tremendous herd there. Have never hunted them, I usually go after mule deer instead. However I have to say nothing is as pretty as a big bull elk strutting his stuff.

Welcome to the 'Buds, ya, there's a couple of us on here with assorted Blasers ;) Looks like one Offroad and one Prostock, which one gets the most hunts in? Well, I probably know the answer, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

You are welcome here mate!!! 300 Wby Mag is a monster of a cal and i too am a fan.. The VLD's are also a great choice.

You will make some friends here, you have a lot in common with most of us :D Just keep away from Olsen, his hunting attire is a little questionable,
Shoot First, measure them later.
