Okay loaded up amd tested velocity.

100gr of 2209 with 570gr gives 2028fps. Will push up to 102 for competition.

Well I put 102gr of 2209 pushing a 570gr Betram in Betram brass which got me 2065fps or about 5390ftlb of energy.

Here's me putting the right barrel through the chrono. It was however shooting very low with the sights so I've decided to remove it and replace with an Aimpoint H1 micro 2MoA and sight it in next week at 100m and if I got time I'll test out to 200m.

The great things about blaser is the mounting options.

However I'm thinking I'll need to find a Swaro EE because otherwise a normal eye relief is going to result in a black eye.

Well after shooting about 40 rounds I've decided to get a right hand stock built by Kevin Wright. He's got it now and will make a mirror image of it for the right hand.

When he pulled it apart the plastic imitation ebony forend was spilt so he will repair that and make a new one. He'll put the right hand cast on the stock and a bigger kick eeze recoil pad on it and increase the length of pull. He'll also take the schnabel end off as that has a habit to cut your hand under recoil. He's then going to put 6 coats of epoxy on it to make it waterproof.

The regulation seems to be out on the windage so when I get it back I'll start working with the wedge between the barrels to get them a bit closer at 50m.

The things we do for our obsessions. I just bought this:

It’s in the mail now, and I can hardly wait.

Pretty! Been thinking of getting a LH straighter stock made for my BB97. Never been a fan of the hogsback monstrosity on it. My 9,3 doesn't kick like yours would so not really so motived - but that stock wood is very nice.
