Alaska Part 1

K95 and I in Alaska. First part of the trip Brown Bear hunting on the coast with the K95 with the 9.3x74R barrel. Bear came out of forest shortly before dark 115 yards away, first shot passed through heart lungs shot , and follow up shot probably not necessary but broadside a little back. Bear ran about 50 yards and died.

Thank you everyone. Speedy everyone NEEDS a 9.3x74R barrel for their K95! It was awesome to be able to bring this barrel for bear and the .300 mag barrel for goat in a compact package for travel. With 22rf to 9.3 and 5 other barrels in between I am set for anything I will ever hunt, but might have to buy a Stutzen barrel

You have a 22lr in a K95, or is that list blaser all inclusive?
That's still a dream barrel for me.

And I'm thinking that I will get a 9.3x74R barrel, I know I don't necessarily need one, but I still NEED one.

And definitely get yourself a Stutzen barrel, I'm actually tempted to see if I can twist their arm into making a 9.3x74R Stutzen barrel.

9.3x74R was a calibre option for some Stutzens. If it still is, arm twisting will not be needed.

Enquired at my local today about a 9.3x74R barrel, no idea, about availability but expected to be longer then usual and they definitely have upped the price on them.

I will ring around and see if any shops in Australia have one or I might have to buy overseas and import.

But every time I look at those photos, I realise that I need one in my life.
