Re: Question on loading 6.5 Creedmoor for Blaser R8
Canuck,
I run 43.0 grains of H4350 with Lapua brass and CCI 450 primers with the ELD-X bullets. I load them to 2.840" COAL and then use my magnum insert so I have plenty of room in the magazine. I'm getting 2715 fps and they shoot well and are very consistent.
Good luck!
Joel

Re: Question on loading 6.5 Creedmoor for Blaser R8
I only use 41.7 of H4350, same brass and primer as Joel. There is a nice wide sweet spot at around 41.5-41.7. I load mine to where it feeds out of a standard 308 insert. The factory ammo is about .5 MOA as are my hand loads.

My 6.5 barrel shoots factory 143 eldx under .75 moa, so I just duplicated the factory oal and got the same results with my hand loads.
