Article in latest Hunter magazine on a pigeon pair ( Beretta Silver) extolling the virtues of the 20 gauge over decoys.mchughcb wrote:I wouldn't have put the 20g up there with the 12G but the more I shoot the 20G and the lighter weight the more I like it. Re: Non Matching Pair
Nice video with the 20g on the clays. A bit of constructive criticism if I may ole' chap. When you are ready to call for the next bird have your barrel pointed centred on the centre of the roof of the trap and not two meters above it. The reason for this is, when the clay is called going either to the left or right it is easier to follow through its arc when you start from behind then swing through, cover, lead then pull the trigger in one smooth motion.

Thanks for that. I don't shoot trap competitively and I'm not using a trap gun so any advice is appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't get it, but it works okay. I've only got to get the sling put on it and it will be ready for hunting.7x57 wrote:Article in latest Hunter magazine on a pigeon pair ( Beretta Silver) extolling the virtues of the 20 gauge over decoys.mchughcb wrote:I wouldn't have put the 20g up there with the 12G but the more I shoot the 20G and the lighter weight the more I like it.
