Thanks for posting the link. Nothing over here on it yet and nothing on their website. Nice to see they added a parallax feature in addition to the illumination as well as higher powers to go along with it. The biggest issues I had with the HT 3-12 was no parallax adjustment and the highest available power was 12.

It is quite heavy with the 2.8-20x56 coming in at 830 grams (29.27 ounces) which stands to reason with all the hardware necessary for a 7x magnification range. 350 mm long, (13.77") so that's good.

We'll have to see what kind of money they're going to think it's worth.

I was able to play with one of them V-8 Zeiss scopes during a trip to Spain. Very impressed with it and as I was told maybe next year it will be in the USA, the down side will be price, somewhere around $ 3,000.00

Handled one the other day. They seem overly bulky, and as a hunting scope, I don't think I'd want one as I carry my rifle more than what I shoot it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I certainly subscribe to the same line of thought as Umshawati Boy in that I carry more than shoot most of my hunting rifles, my varmint rifle being the exception, there I sometimes lay in one spot and shoot half the day or better. The other extreme being my coues deer hunts in Arizona, where I hike miles of steep mountains day after day and glass until I find a buck I wan to take. For this hunting I use one of my lightweight rifles with a minimal scope.
However, I will admit, when I first saw the big Zeiss scopes on Blaser rifles I thought they were ridiculously over sized. I'm talking about the 56mm 3-12 in this case which has the 30mm tube. However, as I thought on it for a while, like a few years, my opinion began to change. I now own one of the Zeiss Victory HT 3-12X56 with rail mount, ASV+ and #60 reticle. After several hunts with it, I can say that it has become my favorite scope for flat lands or stand hunts. I will still use my minimalist rigs for coues deer, if I ever draw another tag but I now have learned to appreciate the "Hubble" scopes and would be more open to a V8 now than just a few years ago.
Looking forward to some field reports.

Actually, I like it . . . for stand or long range . . . but not for a carry outfit Weight is around 29-30 ounces. Christmas is coming

I would have figured, with Blaser it‘s not that big of a problem to have one lightweight barrel for your mountain hunts, and another topped off with a big V8 for.... well, everything else.

It certainly does not look out of place on your success. In fact it does not look any or much bigger than many other lower powered scopes.
