That is great news for you guys ,kudos.
Unfortunately here in Aus we can not defend our selves in our own home. Whether it be by gun or any other weapon.
Even our police cannot take their side arm home. A couple months ago one of our police officers had to hide in the laundry with his young family while the house was being ransacked .

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6
Measure it, when it’s on the deck

Just saw a blurb where the legislature had to override the Governor's veto. That in itself is very nice to see. The elected representatives did what the people wanted them to do instead of get on the political company bus and ignore the people that put them there. Now if you can just send that Governor on a one way trip to hell it would be a good day.

Wow that would be a bitter pill to swallow. I can't even imagine a government totally denying you the right to protect yourself and or your family. We do have a few screwed up police departments here in the USA where the officers can't take the department gun home but AFAIK they can keep a personal gun in their home. Not sure about them being able to defend themselves in those cities but thankfully they are only a handful.sav338 wrote:That is great news for you guys ,kudos.

Glad to see Missouri residents will be able to carry concealed without a permission slip from their state government. But be aware state and federal laws will still apply. As an example you will not be allowed to carry on public school grounds unless you are permitted, then you will be exempt from that restriction unless the school district's policy says otherwise. Then there are local ordinances to deal with. Hopefully Missouri has some kind of preemption law to prevent that. Also you will not be able to carry in or on federal properties such as Post Offices. If you decide to carry which I hope you do, please educate yourself on the laws and get some real training not just some CCW class.Corjack wrote:Missouri residents will be able to concealed carry a firearm without a permit.
