Watching the Series Yellowstone
My wife and I have been watching the series Yellowstone on the TV. We were watching Season 3 Episode 2. Towards the end of the episode the ranch foreman hears what he thinks to be a wolf howling nearby. So he reaches above the front door of his house to grab his rifle. To my surprise he grabs a Blaser R8, wood stock, open sights only, instead of a lever action rifle that I expected. I think all rifles shown previously had been either lever action or AR-15s.
Anyway I thought I would share that piece of trivia.

Never find one here. 375 H&H or forget it. I actually am very fond of that cartridge. Granted my useage of one is very limited but it was a sweet shooting cartridge that dished out some mean stuff..
Back to the show, sounds interesting. That might be one worth watching especially compared to the crap that's on the tube.

I really enjoyed the first two seasons but I can't seem to get it any more. Need to buy the dvds. I hear folks dissed it for being overly macho, violent and not at all realistic. I thought it was a TV show....

That's because everything is supposed to be Woke and left leaning, all cop shows now are just awash with with gay, gender identity or minority apologetic BS with a ton of Covid-19 crap thrown in.
I just can't watch them any more, I started watching the old ones as the new stuff is just so manure.

Is not a bad show, Just make sure you get the Y branded into if you're a farm hand.
Measure it, when it’s on the deck
