BD14 actual weight
Can anyone who owns a BD14 and actually weighed it personally please tell me how much it weighs preferably with and without scope?
The advertised weights are all bs. Blaser says a D99 Duo is 3.9 kilos, mine is 4.2 kilos actual weight without scope. I found a new BD14 for $8200 US and would get it if it actually weighed 3.3 kilos.
Thanks

Re: BD14 actual weight
It all depends on the caliber, yes a 9.3x74r would be the lightest, but a 6.5x55 would be more.
What caliber is the one your looking at in?

I have a BD14 with a 22 Hornet barrel, I love it. First Hornet I have ever owned in my life.

Re: BD14 actual weight
When I first held a D99 in Sweden it was disappointing. I can't remember if I held a duo and a trio. It was disappointed because it was so heavy and I didn't like the handling. Later I held a D99 in 308/20G/20G and it was much nicer compared to my Sauer Mod 3000 Export drilling. If I remember back to my initial disappointment I also was disappointed with the BD14 because I didn't like the pistol grip and it was heavy compared to my BBF97. However I've grown to like it and as a substitute for a D99 Duo I don't think you can go wrong if you want those calibres.

308win and 22 hornet is a great pair of calibres, perfect for most of the typical game your likely to hunt with it.
I'm soft and I don't care.
